MISSIONARIES IN LISBON – PORTUGAL
Jose Hernan Duarte and Thaís Abdalla Correa Duarte have been married for 19 years. The couple has two children, Alejandro and Karine. They are members of the Third Baptist Church of Lisbon.
Hernan holds a degree in Theology from the Palavra de Vida Bible Institute in Buenos Aires, Argentina; a degree in Human Resources from FAC; completed the Perspectivas Brasil course in 2018; and a degree in Advanced Leadership from the Haggai Institute. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Education at Dallas Theological Seminary.
Thaís holds a degree in theology from the Palavra da Vida Bible Institute, a Bachelor’s degree in Executive Secretarial Studies, a postgraduate degree in Executive Assistance – “Master Business for Secretaries”, and has worked in large multinational companies as an Executive Secretary.
The Ministry Project aims to develop mentoring, care, and training for pastors and leaders in Portugal.
“Our focus: To establish a network of itinerant and present pastoral support that transcends denominational and geographical barriers. To be a BEACON of grace for pastors and leaders in distress and a BRIDGE connecting them to possible solutions.”
