Privacy Policy

MEVIC is committed to maintaining your trust. The online privacy policy is designed to protect and safeguard your personal data (any information by which you may be identified) that you may provide online to our ministry.

Awareness

MEVIC makes this online privacy policy available to inform you how your data is collected and used, as well as to warn you about our security practices. We also offer the possibility to remove your name from our database, if you wish.

The information we collect

There are three different ways to receive data from users of our Websites: 1. Through online information requests (email, newsletters, contact forms, etc.); 2. Through requests for materials from our online organization (devotionals, registration for events, campaigns or activities); 3. And through online donations.

The information we may collect online includes name, age, position, full address with postal code, telephone number and email address. In order to continually improve our service and personalize our future communications, we may also ask you for some statistical data, comments, professional interests, and contact preferences.

How information is used

MEVIC uses your data to understand your needs and to provide you with a better online service. We may use your data to personalize our site for you. If you wish, we can also use this data to send you updated information about our ministry’s projects and activities. We also provide the opportunity to remove your name from our database, if you wish. Please review the corresponding section further down in this privacy policy.

In addition, MEVIC will not send you an email that you have not agreed to receive. We may send you e-mail periodically to announce event information. If you choose to provide your postal address in an online form, you may also receive some correspondence from us.

We do not disclose Personal Information

MEVIC never sells, rents, leases or exchanges your personal data with other organizations. MEVIC guarantees that the identity of all those who contact us through this website will be kept confidential. MEVIC may occasionally send information on behalf of other organizations or ministries, when its interests align with those of MEVIC. The use of your personal data will be limited to promoting the activities of the MEVIC ministry and associated ministries.

Safety

MEVIC is committed to ensuring the security of your personal data. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain accuracy and ensure the proper use of information, we have established and implemented physical, electronic and administrative procedures to safeguard and protect the information we collect online. When collecting or transferring sensitive data, such as personal data, on the Internet, MEVIC uses encryption software, Secure Socket Layer Protocol (SSL). All data entered is encrypted in your browser, sent over the Internet in encrypted form, and then encrypted on our server. As soon as we receive your data, it is only accessible to a small number of trusted MEVIC employees who have been specially trained to monitor it.
